Sydney has copped a bad rap recently about its less-than-friendly attitude towards cyclists. To show how much we love our wheeled friends, and their lovable greenie ways, Monstrosity is pleased to announce the Woolloomooloo Festival on Wheels in conjunction with the fabulous Sable and Argent Cycle Shop on Bourke St. The festival sees the launch of an exhibition of art related to sustainable living at Monstrosity Gallery on Friday, and on Saturday there’s a cycle swap meet, live bands, cycling stunts, a DJ and a BBQ. This major event heralds a groundswell of enthusiasm for a greener, more sustainable city, while recognising Woolloomooloo’s growing reputation as an artistic and cultural hub.
