Screenprinting Workshops

As seen on

By the founder of Monstrosity Gallery and, Amanda West

“West” started her own t-shirt printing setup in 2008, really cheap and fast. Now her shirts are her own walking art gallery. Plus people constantly want to buy them! Learn the art of screenprinting! This course is a great follow up for people who have done the TAFE course on Starting your own T-shirt design business.

Why learn to screenprint, when you can order digital prints of your artwork?

  • You can put your art on a Tshirt in about 3 hours flat.
  • Your designs begin to walk around stuck to people, doing all the promo for you.
  • Each print costs you about $2. (plus the cost of a plain t-shirt and equipment)
  • You can make money selling your designs or printing for other people.
  • You get the skills to start printing AT HOME  immediately. Start your own business!
  • Screenprinting is a traditional fine art SKILL that you can do on paper and other items.
  • Handmade items make the best gifts!
  • Our classes give you excellent VALUE: You have fun, meet other designers, get free course notes, and learn a skill that could make you thousands of dollars.

An introduction to your digital SLR

Taught by highly qualified photographer and teacher Phil Soliman.

If you’ve bought, or are thinking about buying, an SLR camera, and aren’t too sure where to start, then this class may help to demystify what may seem like a very complicated piece of equipment.

The thing to remember is that at its heart, any camera is merely a box for recording light. No matter how much you spend on it, how many dials and knobs it has, how many lenses and accessories you get for it, remembering this basic fact will ensure you never get overwhelmed.

An introduction to your digital SLR will teach you how to take control of your camera, and take the best photographs you can. Instead of relying on the camera’s auto function, which quite often will give you average ‘happy snaps’, you can have full control over your images, and create truly amazing images that’ll capture the attention of your family and friends, and with persistence, the attention of the wider public, who will pay for your images.

$150 will get you three 2 hour sessions with an experienced pro photographer, lunch / dinner on Day Two, and 5 free 6×4″ prints of your best photos.
