Two bits of amazing news, boys and girls.
1. Our opening exhibition has been chosen to be included in the Head On Photo Festival. An interesting side note is that one of our artists, Morgan Carpenter, was a finalist in the Head On Portrait Prize last year.
This photo festival is an exciting initiative involving galleries, restaurants and cafes around Sydney exhibiting local and international photography. Public galleries, including the Museum of Sydney and the Manly Art Gallery will be taking part, as well as a large number of commercial galleries…The festival aims to attract a wide range of excellent photography from Australia and overseas that speaks for itself, regardless of whether the photographer is well known or not.
2. Ascella Pure Organic Wines, who produce wines in the biggest organic vineyard in the Hunter Valley, have kindly confirmed sponsorship for our first and second shows. Their support of Monstrosity gallery and the Sydney arts scene is greatly appreciated.
